You are investigating a case involving a suspected compromise, and the company suspects sensitive data has been exfiltrated. You are diving into the files, folders, and artifacts - connecting the dots and making progress.

But then, you stumble upon a secure encrypted container. Your instinct kicks in, and you assume the suspect used it to bundle up critical data for exfiltration.

Being a curious (and experienced) penetration tester, your red team brain tells you: Let’s crack it!

And you did, successfully.

Inside, you discovered credentials for a social media account.

Your curiosity grows, and you decided to try logging in to the account. You succeed it again and start reading messages.
